23.01.2022 Vets Christmas Break up competition was played on Tuesday. The vets invite the ladies to play with them and there was a great turn up. Jacqui Kennedy won the ladies with 41 Stableford points and John Hortle won the mens with 42 Stableford points. The day was sponsored by Tony and Di Somers.

23.01.2022 The stroke event held today had four seasons of weather. Well done to the winners Norm Peacock in the Men's & Jenny Bury in the Ladies. Today's game was sponsored by the Anchor Wheel Motel and 1st place winners received a voucher to Nina Restaurant.

23.01.2022 Congratulations to our Summer Cup 2019/2020 Winner Jenny Bury with the best nett scores 101.5. Runner up was Peta Buchanan on 103.5 with June Walters third 106.5. June also took out the putting with a nice 39 putts over three rounds. Well Done Ladies!

22.01.2022 January's Tim & Kaye Morse Medal winner is Doug Coker-Williams with a nett score of 65. Doug is receiving his trophy from Tim Morse and Captain Fred. Congratulations and well done!

19.01.2022 Visitors Welcome! Social distancing measures must be observed. No touching the flag stick. No rakes in bunkers. No shaking hands.... The bar will now be open on competition days. Happy Golfing everyone!

18.01.2022 We had 18 players for the Final of the 2019 Grandmas Shield yesterday in very windy and cool conditions. We welcomed Grandmas representatives from Scamander (Margaret Thompson and Beth Haas), and Freycinet (Lynne Crockatt and Sue Dransfield). We were also joined by Country Member Kay Morse and Judy Frieboth from Scamander. The ladies enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea and the raffle was won by Marion Green. Grandmas Shield was taken out by St Helens representatives Di Harris (35) and Jenny Bury (34) putting in good scores to take out this years event well done girls. Scamander had 58 points and Freycinet 56.

11.01.2022 Our Grand Final Golf Day had a great turn out. 12 holes of golf followed by lunch and the big game. 'Super Box' Winner Linda Broomhall got the royal treatment. A front row seat with food & drinks for duration of the game. Well done Linda!

07.01.2022 Saturday 7th March was Day # 1 of the Brett Inmon Triple Challenge and attracted a large field of 40 players. With the new handicap system in place, the scores were lower than in previous years. On a cool windy day, there was a count back to decide the mens winner and Guy Davis from Tamar Cakes Bakery won over Doug Coker-Williams both with 37 Points. Paul Shambrook came up with 34 points in third. Craig Smith from Riverside took out the Pro-Pin hole # 2 with 6.6 metres ...and took the jackpot prize of $59.00. In the ladies comp, Iris Glover won with 32 points, Lois Dakin coming in second place on 29 and June Walters third on 27. The day ended with a social evening which included a BBQ and music by Brooke Banderas. Many thanks and appreciation to Brett Inmon for his generosity and for organizing this event.
