13.01.2022 A couple of months ago I was commissioned with a open brief,by the Royal Agriculture Society of NSW to capture the Bandy Johnson Draught Horse Team, which was t...o feature as one of the main entertainment acts to perform at the 2020 Sydney Royal Easter Show. Adding to this a cover shot for the Sunday Telegraph's Easter Show Guide of Country Kids doing their thing. Unfortunately as we all know the Show is not happening this year. So I thought I'd share these photos (+ a couple of extras) for the people who don't have Instagram, or haven't seen them on my Instagram feed @pkrobbo_mondephoto . It was one of the most satisfying shoots I've done in my career, with a 05:30 call time and finishing up at 20:30 on a stifling 47 degree day. Following with a few cold ones with the wonderful people that made it all happen. Enjoy Folks

07.01.2022 INMATES BEFRIEND NEW NEIGH-BOURS St Heliers Correctional Centre staff and inmates have welcomed two new neigh-bours, with the addition of Isla and Imogen to... the Upper Hunter centres Racehorse Rehabilitation Program. The two Shires were donated by Corrective Services NSW officer and stud owner Somone Landry, who wants to educate inmates to train and care for heavy horse breeds, which are endangered worldwide. Overseers Janelle and Dale, with the help of inmates, have successfully educated all of their heavy horses to saddle and cart, Ms Landry says. While some inmates are already good horsemen, for others its an opportunity for them to learn new skills like how to handle, care for and educate such as big animal. The program was established in 2011 in collaboration with Racing NSW. It pairs inmates with thoroughbred horses to be retrained for new pursuits like recreational riding, equestrian events, the NSW Mounted Police Unit and as companion animals. #CSNSW #Corrections #StHeliers #Muswellbrook #RacehorseRehabilitationProgram #RacingNSW
