21.01.2022 St Hilda's College students support breast cancer care and are doing their part. From 3-10 October, students will 'Walk for a Week', 24/7, with at least one student at any given time walking around the College in a week-long relay. This lockdown-friendly fundraiser aims to raise awareness and donations towards McGrath Breast Care Nurses, who play an invaluable role helping families experiencing breast cancer across Australia. 14.01.2022 The Edge Employability Program is a new, value add initiative for St Hilda's students and commenced this year. Designed, and led by Josh Farr from Campus Consultancy, the program enhances the living and learning college experience. Josh said 'Gaining employment in the 21st century workplace is not just about technical understanding and subject knowledge. To be competitive, graduates need to demonstrate to employers that they have the discipline-specific skills required, as we...ll as a broader range of employability skills.' The workshop this week was all about LinkedIn, including how to leverage the platform to find a job, network, and build strong professional relationships.
