23.01.2022 Many of you have already heard about the Push-Up challenge by Headspace The goal is to reduce the number of Australian lives being lost to suicide by increasing awareness of mental illness in the community. Did you know that 45% of Australians will experience a mental health issue at some point in their life! The target: 3,046 push-ups in 21 days for 3,046 lives lost to suicide in 2018. Many Techies are already participating and we strongly encourage you to participate too! The challenge began on Monday but it's not too late to start! 23.01.2022 Hey boys, kicking off SRC Week tomorrow for 2018 will be Jersey Day and our oztag match against St. George Girls. Come along and support the match on the front oval at lunch in your favourite sports jersey/mufti (gold coin)! Drinks will also be sold on the front oval.

22.01.2022 STHSxSGGHS SCHOOL DANCE Thank you to both Sydney Tech and Sgghs SRCs for the time and effort put into the dance. Thank you also to the teachers who took time out to supervise, and a big shout out to the SRC coordinators from both schools for all the support and organisation. And most importantly, thank YOU for coming along to this year's dance, and we hope you all had a blast!

17.01.2022 Hey boys, the TECHQON.1 combined dance promo video is now up! Dance tickets will be on sale at the top of the stairs in the quad for $15 per person from week 9 to week 11 every recess and lunch except on Wednesdays. If you're in a group of 8 people, tickets will be discounted to just $13 per person (for a total of $104 per group), so make sure you invite all your friends to come! Remember to save the 12th of April for the boys and get pumped for one of the biggest events on... the school calendar!! See more

We hope you've enjoyed the events this year, from the exhibition oztag match against SGGHS to the amazing showcase of Tech's most 'gifted' and 'talented' in the Talent Quest. This week would not have been possible without the help and support of many students and teachers including: -St. George Girls, Minh Ho and the commentators for Monday's oztag match -Ervin Liang, Ms. Chork, Ms. Gal...e and other SRC boys for loading pizzas and organising all the logistics for Tuesday's Pizza Day -Roary Xu and Daniel Jensen for organising Thursday's Capture the Flag event -Hadi Ahmed, Yash Shewale, Louis Troulis, Rikki Arendsen, Sound and Lighting, the Media Team, teacher and student judges, and the gong squad for Friday's Talent Quest A huge thank you to all these people, and the many others who have contributed to SRC Week Once again, thanks for participating in this year's SRC Week, and we look forward to seeing you all at next year's SRC Week! -STHS SRC

This year on Sunday, May 13 the Mother's Day Classic fun walk/run celebrates its 21st birthday, and we would love our school community to help raise much-needed funds for breast cancer research. As the major fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, the MDC has contributed more than $30 million to breast cancer research, which is the work of over 100,000 supporters who run or walk the ...Mothers Day Classic each year at over 90 events around the country. The Mother's Day Classic are in urgent need for volunteers to assist with the Sydney Domain Event and the Parramatta Park event from 6.30am - 11.30am, Sunday 13 May 2018. 04.01.2022 Righto Boys. Thursday Lunchtime is your LAST opportunity to purchase a ticket for the renowned STHS and SGGHS school dance. This is the SRC's biggest annual event, and this year we have DJ Inhanity lined up to perform. For those of you who are apprehensive or unsure of the dance, come along anyway, you won't know you don't like it until you've tried it. Year 11 and 12 SRC members will be selling tickets Wednesday and Thursday recess and lunch. The prices still stand at $15 dollars individually, or $13 dollars each in a group of 8.
