11.01.2022 Hi Everyone :) My name is Jenaya Schmid. I am the new Maternal Health Tackling Smoking Project Officer here at the Aboriginal Health Council of SA. Some of you may already know me from my previous work I have done with the Puyu Blasters Team. Just a little bit about me: ... I am a proud Ngarrindjeri woman who has a strong passion in helping our people. I have been smoke free for over 3 years and know just how hard the journey to be and continue to be smoke-free is. This is my 5th year here at AHCSA working in various roles. I have also recently completed my cert IV Practice and I am now a qualified Aboriginal Health Worker Practitioner. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY.. I have recently just returned from maternity leave. I have just had my first bub, Hunter who is 6 months old. He is my absolute world. I look forward to meeting with you all and sharing our journeys in motherhood and to help support you with your smoke free pregnancies.
