18.01.2022 Dont mix the playdough?!? What happens when you make purple and pink dough and the pink dough is faulty AF and goes to hell in a hand basket overnight for some inexplicable reason?! So you toss the pink yo the side and try and make a new batch of teal dough but get heavy handed with the green or the blue who knows. So a bluey green or a greeny blue dough goes to the table. Your temporary assistant for the day calls out theyre trying to mix the dough and you call back its all good thats how we learn stuff ... well we all learned purple plus a dash of mushy pink disaster plus some psuedo teal makes a divine perfect earthy forest green dough with perfect texture. *takes a bow*. #letthemplay #letthembelittle #letthemlearn #playdoughkit #sticksandstoneseducation #mixtheplaydough

Children during this time would be feeling so many emotions (more than we might even recognise), so it is important to make sure that we are constantly checking in with them on how they are feeling and going. Children will not always come out and say hey I am feeling scared/frightened/worried/anxious etc, so one way we can get them to engage with us is through play and games.
