25.01.2022 Anyone know if spectators are allowed at the off road race at Dalby this weekend. We’re not racing but have rellies who wouldn’t mind going to have a look if allowed

23.01.2022 Should do nicely. Better than the original ball knob. Thanks Jason Lavis

22.01.2022 Bit more progress. New Haltec dash fitted by the guys at Shannon’s Auto Electrics in Townsville. Bit of tidy up to fill in the hole when it get home. Was hoping to to have it on the Dyno yesterday but a few issues prevented it happening. However got a call this morning that it’s all been sorted with a new crank angle sensor and some more love and it’s running fine. Dyno Monday or Tuesday and pick up next weekend.

21.01.2022 All loaded up and ready to take it to Shannon’s Auto Electrical in Townsville in the morning. New Haltec Ecu and Dash, re wired and run on the Dyno. Ready for Don River Dash and have a run against some bloke called Rohan who I hear goes alright lol

18.01.2022 STIEBER Racing hanging out with MERCHANT Motorsport. Good looking shed that

18.01.2022 Progress thanks to JK Motorsport

17.01.2022 Finally got back in the buggy today. Nearly 12 months since I last drove it. Big thanks to Jason Lavis of JK Motorsport and his boss for letting me run around his property. Awesom little 5km track to test on and get used to using a sequential shifter. Little issue with the parameters on the new ecu but that was quickly sorted by Shannon at Shannon’s Auto Electrical who remotely operated our computer and rectified the issue. Small vid of the buggy. Hopefully Jason will add a in car one soon. Don River here we come.

16.01.2022 Well it’s finally done. Had seven odd runs on the dyno with no dramas. Racing here we come

14.01.2022 All set up and ready to go for the Don River Dash.

13.01.2022 DON RIVER DASH Bring on our first race in Class 10 after winning the Super 1650 Class last year Can’t wait to see how she runs after all the hard work put in by JK Motorsport off road racing, SWC Automotive, Shannon's Auto Electrical and Ongrade Grader hire and Bob Cat Hire! ... See you all there

12.01.2022 Conversion to Class 10 well under way. Thanks to Jason Lavis of JK Motorsport for doing the hard yards

10.01.2022 Here is some footage of the Don River Dash. 1st lap on Saturday. The first dirt section is a transport stage and timing doesn’t start until we go thru the witches hat and under the timing gantry. Recorded off the Tele because I wouldn’t have a clue how to do anything else.

04.01.2022 Well dejavu has reared it’s ugly head. More of the same today. Only completed one lap today. Appears a coil pack gave up the ghost and it dropped to 3 cylinders. The limp mode issue from yesterday was sorted and was running great for 3/4 of the lap. That’s racing. Highlight of the day was team manager/gopher/number one supporter Ralph Stieber got to meet Toby Price just after he dominated the bike category.

01.01.2022 Well not the start we wanted for the weekend. Car was running and handling great but unfortunately 3/4 thru the lap the engine went into limp mode. We continued on to finish the lap but decided to call it a day and headed back to the Showgrounds. Shannon from Shannon’s Auto Electrical was here and was quickly on the job to sort the issue. Teething problems for the new set up but we are good to go tomorrow and are going to give it a red hot crack.
