06.01.2022 Today I had a phone call from an Australian company in the top 200 companies in Australia. They required a vehicle to have a sticker on it repaired as it was missing a letter.. I said I could do it as they were not far from me. After we arranged things I was asked what my credit terms were. I said 7 days. They informed me that they only do 62 days to the eom (end of month). This is probably why so many small businesses fail within the first 5 years, because of the long term of payments that big companies require. I can't see why we allow these big companies to dictate to the supplier when they will pay their bills. At the end the conversation which promised plenty of work (wink,wink) I declined the job. Next time I go to Woolworths or On the Run I'm gonna try that one.
