22.01.2022 Whilst our petition to save Cambridge had little effect on the Minister - the Supreme Court certainly did - congratulations to Mayor Keri Shannon and the Councillors at the Town of Cambridge who clearly - when tested by a court offering procedural fairness and natural justice - passed with flying colours. The City of Stirling needs to take a look at this debacle from start to finish and contemplate how its governance record would fare in such circumstances.
20.01.2022 A DRP supporting an LDP against the LPP & not a DA ... for more acronyms and general naughtiness see... http://stirlingcommunitymatters.com/can-we-see-a-copy-of-th
15.01.2022 Whilst usually blaming 'mum and dad' investors for lack of greenspace and canopy coverage in Stirling.. perhaps the CoS will also question why Surfing WA's proposed new HQ requires greenfield development by commandeering a public park?
03.01.2022 Woolworths White Sands development withdrawn. COSRA are happy to see that this application has been withdrawn, COSRA's feedback to DevelopmentWA revolved around the applications total lack of regard to the Scarborough Beach masterplan and its guidelines as well as concerns over the perceived creative manipulation of those guidelines. Well done to sunsetsnotskyscrapers , WARRA and all the other organisations and individuals who took part in the consultation process.... This is not of course the end of the process but hopefully Woolworths will take note of the significant community feedback - feedback which overwhelmingly wants this site to be redeveloped but to be done so within the guidelines agreed - in good faith- with the community.
