23.01.2022 A very reverent commemoration of Remembrance Day at school today. #WeRememberThem #stjoeysweewaa

20.01.2022 Today is International Day of People with Disability. The day aims to increase public awareness and acceptance of people with disabilities whilst celebrating their achievements and contributions. At St Joseph’s,we began our celebrations with prayer,engaged in inclusive discussions regarding ‘Equality, Equity and Justice’ before watching various clips focusing on the achievements and contributions made by people with disability in all areas of our society.

12.01.2022 Today, students enjoyed NAIDOC Week celebrations by participating in a range of activities, such as group discussions about cultural understanding, eating Johnny Cakes and Damper, and playing Indigenous games on the Oval. As a school, we also contributed to a mural, which will be completed in the coming weeks. Thank you to Darcy Lang, Denise Galagher, Colleen, Debbie, and Teresa Combo for leading and supporting these sessions.

12.01.2022 The Gala day was a success, our students are leaving Tamworth now. Expected to return approx 5.45 pm.
