While some private health funds offer ambulance cover, many only offer cover for urgent transport. So if your transport is deemed non-urgent your private health cover may not pay and you could be left to foot the cost. In country WA, St John Ambulance offer St John Country Ambulance Cover which will protect you for St John Ambulance transport 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.... The subscription coverage is restricted to ambulance transport provided by St John in regional Western Australia and ambulance services in other States who have a reciprocal arrangement with St John Ambulance Western Australia. The Benefit fund pricing arrangement is available to all residents living in regional Western Australia. Pricing - Country Volunteer Sub Centres - South of the 26th Parallel (Dunsborough) 2019-2020 Family - $93 Single - $56 Career Country Sub Centres: (Includes Bunbury, Busselton) 2019-2020 Family - $123 Single - $74 Premiums for the St John Country Ambulance Cover go the local Sub-Centre to help fund valuable ambulance and first aid training services they provide to the surrounding community.
