08.01.2022 Con Paioff would not be here today if not for his wife Judy and two kids, Alex and Jordana. In May of this year, Con had collapsed after suffering from a sudden... cardiac arrest in his office at home. The family's quick thinking helped save their father's life, with Alex and Jordana completing chest compressions for 16 minutes before the ambulance arrived. The Paioff family has since been reunited with the heroes who helped save Con's life. Communications Officer, Christine and Paramedics David and Grant were there to meet with the family and reflect on what happened that fateful night. This Restart A Heart Day, let this story be a reminder to everyone that knowing just the basics of CPR could help save a life. Even if you don't know what to do, getting on a chest and proving compressions is better than doing nothing at all. You never know, you could help save a life. #CelebratingLife #RAHD2020 Council of Ambulance Authorities - Australasia
