01.01.2022 Dear user's of St John Ovals In consideration of the recent decision by the NSW Rugby League to temporarily suspend all Rugby League training and competitions until further notice it is appropriate that the St John Community Operating Committee temporarily suspend access and use by current and potential users of the St John facility in an endeavour to control the threat of COVID-19, (Corona Virus). The decision is made in the best interest of users and the protection of the g...reater community. The St John COC will remain in close contact with the Lake Macquarie City Council to ensure the St John facility continues to receive regular maintenance and is able to be introduced back into service as soon as possible. Prior to any future use of the St John facility a cleaning and sanitisation programme will need to be undertaken. The St John COC wish to ensure users that we make this decision with the greatest safety considerations. Your assistance and compliance with our decision is greatly appreciated during this difficult time. Users will be notified as soon as the St John facility is considered suitable for use.
