12.01.2022 Year 10 had their critical ‘thinking hats’ on this week, studying Shakespeare’s King Lear (Act III). The ‘thinking hats’ represent thinking styles as devised by psychologist Edward DeBono. Students read and discussed the scene from the perspective of each hat they wore including yellow (positive), green (creativity), red (feelings) & black (caution). Student Allira enjoyed the experience noting ‘DeBono’s Thinking Hats helped me discover different perspectives present in the s...cene. The activity was not only fun but made analysing & understanding the scene much easier’. #english #year10 #shakespeare #kinglear #debono #thinkinghats #creative #engaginglessons #stjohnsnowra #sjenowra #cedow #catholic #highschool
