25.01.2022 What a great start we had to our first session of pre season for 2020. How good it felt to be back out there again kicking the footy around. Great vibe last night ... Do yourself a favour, and be a part of success In season 2020. Training continues Monday & Wednesday nights at Thomas Carroll Reserve 6.15pm Sharp.

24.01.2022 Hi folks Obviously we are as a community in trying times & our football club is no exception. The committee, the coaches & the players are disappointed that all the hard work put in place since October has at this point added up to no actual footy.... At this point I would ask the jocs community to stay safe, respect what the government is asking us to do & stay positive. Our club will return, our game will be played again and we hope that the jocs can continue to thrive in our rebuild. As more information comes to hand regarding any potential return to training & games I will let our jocs family know. Thanks Mick

20.01.2022 The Club is very excited to re-appoint Scott Kendall as our reserves coach. Scott made an immediate impact in the pre-season of 2020. Scott will continue to lead the reserves in 2021 and support the development of our list on and off the field. We are excited to the untapped potential that we missed out on in 2020. We hope to get the opportunity before years end to all gather and congratulate Scott in person. ... #jocsfooty #season2021 #sjocfc #bringiton

19.01.2022 Good morning to our Jocs community, Obviously this footy season has been unusual to say the least. We have had little to report due to the Covid situation. As it stands now we are waiting for the VAFA to make announcement in the week of June 22nd in regards to whether the season is cancelled or it will begin on July 25th.... Our committees position is that we exist to play football, our 55 players who registered for season 2020 want to play some football this season & provided a resumption does not negatively impact our financial position we want to play footy this season. Our relationship with our existing sponsors has remained solid , thou like all footy clubs we could certainly do with more, and the Dandenong Council has kept our options open on opening up thomas Carroll reserve at the end of June. Once the VAFA makes a decision we will let our community know what is happening at your football club. Until then stay safe. Go jocs Mick

19.01.2022 The Club is very excited to re-appoint Dylan Harris as our Senior Assistant coach. Dylan made an immediate impact in the pre-season of 2020. Unfortunately we are yet to unlock his full potential and keen to see everything he brings to the JOCs in 2021. We hope to get the opportunity before years end to all gather and congratulate Dylan in person. #jocsfooty #season2021 #sjocfc #bringiton

05.01.2022 As we are all going through tough times at the moment with the current Vic metro lockdown rules, it is important to stay connected with friends and family. Each individual, each couple, each family and each kid will be going through this in a different way with most people experiencing the own unique situation. Mental Health and well-being needs to be a huge focus for all of us as we deal with COVID 19 and its implications. This is a perfect time to remind people to check u...p on your mates and look after each other the best way we all can. Unfortunately, this season we won't have an opportunity to be around our football club family, but we need to stay connected and look forward to starting our assault on season 2021 as soon as we get a chance. Take a look at the video we participated in on April 1st, the message is still the same. STAY HOME & STAY SAFE. Take care & Go JOCS https://www.facebook.com/sandowncobrasfnc/videos/214592026479647/

03.01.2022 Each season our football club has an award to honor the memory of a member of the military that was lost in active duty. Private Benjamin Ranaudo had a connection to the jocs through his family. The award recognizes a player who serves the club with honor, courage & self sacrifice. It is in a few words the most prestigious award afforded a member of our club. On Anzac Day 2020, whilst we are all doing it a little tough, I would like for all jocs supporters to take a moment t...o remember what wonderful Aussies like Benjamin Ranaudo & the many before and after him have done for our country. Lest we Forget
