Merciful Saviour, you have taught us that those who believe in you will not be condemned, but have already passed from death to life. Give us faith in your forgiveness, so that we fearlessly wait for the time when you set us completely free. For you live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. 11.01.2022 We welcome you as you join in this weekend’s worship at St John’s Perth. The gospel and readings continue to reflect on being ready for Christ’s return. Proper 28A (1Thessalonians 5:1-11; Matthew 25:14-30) Saint Paul reminds us;... Be very careful, then, how you live not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:15-16) See more

10.01.2022 Welcome to this weekend’s worship snippet at St John’s Perth. We’re celebrating All Saints’ Sunday by remembering those whom God has called to their eternal rest as well as those who have come into the family of God through the waters of baptism. (Revelation 7:9-17; 1John 3:1-3; Matthew 5:1-12) See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! (1John 3:1)... Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb. (Rev 7:10)

01.01.2022 Welcome to this weekend’s worship at St John’s Perth. As we come to the end of the church year our worship reflects on being ready for Christ’s return. (PROPER 27A - Amos 5:18-24; 1Thessalonians 4:13-18; Matthew 25:1-13) ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.'... Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour. (Matthew 25:12-13) ...we do not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14) See more
