05.01.2022 The solar panels are almost all installed, as you can see below. High winds don't seem to perturb the installers!

02.01.2022 Update of services: From this coming Sunday, our Service will be going live on Zoom at 10am! If you’d like to attend, please email [email protected] by 4pm on FRIDAY 18 SEPTEMBER for the Zoom link and information. The Service will also be recorded for our YouTube channel, available from Sunday afternoon. Links to YouTube, an audio-only version of the Service, the pew sheet, and a music recording by our Director of Music will be posted here on Facebook on Sunday afternoon.

02.01.2022 Action stations at Buxton Hall today with the installation of our new solar panels on the Hall roof. Positioned on the north side of the roof the panels will get a huge amount of sun and we estimate the church will save $3,500 per year in electricity costs. The purchase and installation of the panels was made possible by a grant of $13,750 from the Commonwealth Government, which covers all the costs. So a win-win for our church and for renewable energy!

01.01.2022 Our Blessing of the Pets is this Sunday! To celebrate the feast day of St Francis of Assisi St. John's is having its first ever blessing of pets via Zoom! The service begins at 10am and straight after the conclusion of the official service, Peter will bless creatures great and small.
