13.01.2022 JOHN 4:43-54 - THE OFFICIAL'S SON On Sunday we were told to beware of looking at the sign rather than the one to whom the sign points. Many followed Jesus because of the signs he performed, but the Royal official trusted Jesus and did as he said. He recognised that the signs were pointing to Jesus. When we are searching for answers, how are we tempted to look for signs rather than looking to Jesus?

05.01.2022 JOHN 5:1-18 - JESUS AND THE MAGIC POOL? Sunday's sermon was about a lame man who wanted to be healed. Jesus offered him something so much better than physical health: wholeness. We all face disappointment, regret, sickness and struggles in this broken world. It is not wrong to yearn for wholeness that can seem so out of reach in this world. We won't find it in religious practices, superstitions or relentless activity. We will find it in Jesus.
