23.01.2022 Our crew is at Wrest Point today for the much-anticipated EDGE - Do It For Dad 2020 abseil for local medical research that has quickly become an iconic event on the Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation event calendar, with hundreds of members of the Tasmanian community jumping on board this highly successful fundraiser since its inception in 2013. Assisted by outdoor adventure specialists, Aardvark Adventures, participants will scale 60 metres down the Wrest Point tower ...to raise vital funds for the RHH Research Foundation, an independent entity that invests funds to support local health and medical research right here in Tasmania. Not only will 60 brave thrill seekers be facing their greatest fears by abseiling off the top of Tasmania’s tallest building, they will be contributing to vital local medical research while also having the chance to say thank you and honour a Dad who has been a part of their life or indeed celebrating being a Dad themselves. . #stjohntas #stjohnambulance #tasmania #firstaid #vollies #volunteers #community #communityservice #savealife #givingback #volunteersrock @wrestpoint
