As of Monday OSHC will run at normal times for children of essential workers who are attending school. 13.01.2022 The Year 5/6 students had a fantastic time at the South Australian Catholic Schools Touch football carnival today! We had some great weather in the city and the students all had a great time demonstrating skills they have been learning in P.E lessons recently. Overall it was a terrific day!

12.01.2022 A big congratulations to the students who were a part of the Catholic School Music Festival Choir this year. Even though they didnt get the chance to perform at the Festival Theatre they still had the opportunity to sing with students from other schools with their performance being filmed instead. Well done you should all be very proud of yourselves.

07.01.2022 Dear Families, Unfortunately, the Water Safety for receptions to year 2 & Aquatics for year 6 has been cancelled due to the extreme weather forecast for Friday. We thank Mr Marsh for all his hard work in organising this at such short notice.... We are optimistic that next year we will have a bit more normality and everyone will get to enjoy swimming lessons, water safety, and aquatics in 2021!

07.01.2022 The Year 6’s travelled to Christie’s Beach Sailing Club for their Reflection day today. Father Dev held a lovely mass for us to start the day, followed by some team activities and beach painting. We had fantastic weather and it was a lovely day reflecting on their upcoming graduation from Primary School.

04.01.2022 Pupil Free Day at OSHC. Our OSHC students had a great time planting new plants in our native garden that was kindly donated to us from Mr Duke. The students also painted, had fun with water and many more activities. Here are a few snaps from the day! * OSHC is also taking donations* The OSHC staff are on the hunt for backyard sports equipment, Lego, books and pots and pans for our sand kitchen.

02.01.2022 The 5/6 Unit have been planning a Christmas market as a part of their Economics lessons. They have been busily preparing some great items to sell in order to raise some funds for the St Vinnie’s Christmas appeal! Monday week the students will visit classrooms and show what will be on offer, and the market will be officially open next Wednesday afternoon

01.01.2022 Today we held the Premiers Reading Challange Assembly. Congratulations everyone on your awesome reading. This year St John's received an award for Outstanding Achievement in the 2020 Premiers Reading Challenge they sent us a lovely selection of new books for the library. Thank you to Becky for always encouraging us to read all the wonderful books in our library.
