24.01.2022 A Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us at St John in Harvey. We hope you're celebrating with loved ones and keeping safe. We hope not to see you over the festive period but if you need us we'll be here.

23.01.2022 Happy St John's Day! Many people don't know that St John WA was established here in 1891, by a group of volunteers who wanted to provide first aid training to t...he wider community. The very first of our classes commenced on 3 March, 1892 and was attended by 30 people. To compare, last year we trained over 481, 698 students! It's amazing that we have been able to deliver this service to the community for 129 years! We could not have come this far and accomplished so much without the support of our staff, volunteers and the WA community. Thank you for continuing to support us over the years.

21.01.2022 With the slab down you can start to get an idea of our amazing new accommodation and offices! Our new build will give us the space to have up to two volunteer crews on shift at the Sub Centre, making sure we can keep looking after our Harvey community and our fabulous vollies.

11.01.2022 BIG THANKS TO OUR FRONTLINE VOLUNTEERS St John has commended the amazing work the 600 volunteers in the South West do to keep our community safe during the ...coronavirus pandemic. "I am incredibly proud of the ongoing dedication and high level of care our volunteers have maintained during this unprecedented health pandemic. Their commitment has not wavered."

02.01.2022 There's no hiding our Sub Centre redevelopment! We're so excited to see the progress so far, and we can't wait to get into our new space in 2021. Our new building has a whole new officer and reception area, lots of space for our volunteer crews to make themselves home while on shift, and a brand new garage so we have room to grow.

02.01.2022 Two years ago, we launched our very first Celebrate Life Event, where we helped reunite cardiac arrest survivors with the heroes who saved their lives. Due to C...OVID-19, we've had to make a couple of changes to this year's celebration, but that won't stop us from sharing these incredible stories! Have you or someone you know, suffered from a cardiac arrest, outside of hospital and were successfully resuscitated? We want to help tell your story. A patient's chance of surviving a cardiac arrest drops 10% for every minute they go without CPR. This is why we want to tell these stories -so we can educate people about the importance of early CPR and defibrillation. The more stories we can tell, the more awareness we can get out there!
