21.01.2022 Yesterday our hall became a sacred space to remember those we love who are now with God and to centre our minds and hearts on how we can be modern day saints. All Souls and All Saints says provide the opportunity or this. This sacredness extended to our parents who gathered to look at ways they can help build our community in 2021 through the JCC. We have much to be grateful for and much to look forward to.
20.01.2022 Things to remember on the first day of school: School Bag Lunch Box School Hat HAVE FUN!... Simple right Not everyone looks forward to starting school. Those first days of preschool, kindy, reception, or big school can be anxiety-inducing for many children and parents. To help you with some of those 'First Day of School' anxieties, we've put together this free activity booklet that you can print off and complete with your child. This free A5 printable activity booklet will help you walk your child through their first days, helping them be prepared for what is to come. Use it as a foundation for a conversation about all the new things they'll do when they go to pre-school or school. 12.01.2022 Today we celebrated and thanked God for all that 2020 has provided for our community, the good and the sad. The feeling of gratitude and pride was tangible. We also witnessed the passing of leadership candles to 2021 leaders , dressed our Jesse Tree reminding us that we are a part of Jesus’ family story and we farewelled our departing staff
11.01.2022 Senior Camp 2020 was a huge success. Fine weather, excited students, committed staff, great venue and hosts in Camp Patterson, oh and a Qld win in the State of Origin made for a memorable camp. We saw fear overcome, problems solved, friendships strengthened across the two days. Having the children in nature did wonders for wellbeing. Thank you staff for your commitment to make this camp another great memory for the children in their time at St Joseph's.

07.01.2022 Too important not to explore... Our parents and carers now have free access to online cyberbullying training and resources. Supported by the Queensland Government, the training is aimed at adults with children or young people exposed to cyberbullying. According to research by the eSafety Commissioner, one in five young people experience cyberbullying and online abuse, and 55 per cent seek help from their parents or carers. 06.01.2022 Joy is on the Way: Advent 2020 with Pope Francis Monday 14 December 2020 Advent is often described as a season of hope, a season of rekindling our deepest expec...tations. "The time of Advent ... returns us to the horizon of hope ..." (Pope Francis, 1/12/13) Hope doesn't disappoint because it is rooted in God's faithful Word. Hope is always possible because we are together on the journey - "the whole of humanity ... all together on the paths of time". Meditative Musing: What word of God has brought hope to you? Who, on the journey with you, has encouraged and supported hope for you?
06.01.2022 Holidays are a great opportunity to be with our children and really listen to them, share stories and connect. The staff of St Joeys hope that our families are making the most of this precious time together.
06.01.2022 Advent is the time when we prepare for the coming of Christ at Christmas It’s about evaluating the year and preparing for the New Year ahead. After a HUGE 202...0, perhaps we could all be a little like Mary. Maybe we could approach the uncertainty of 2021 with as much courage and hope as Mary had when she said YES to being the Mother of Jesus (Image: JESUS MAFA. The Annunciation - Gabriel and Mary, from Art in the Christian Tradition, a project of the Vanderbilt Divinity Library, Nashville, TN.)

05.01.2022 It's exactly one week until students head back to the classroom, and parents are being warned to be mindful of what they post online. Including too much informa...tion in a back to school photo, could put children at risk.
