15.01.2022 Blessed Feast day of Pope Saint John Paul II. Oh, St. John Paul, from heaven's window, where we see you next to Mary, send God's blessing down upon us all. Amen. #popesaintjohnpaul2 #jpii #johnpaul2 #catholic #catholicsaint

14.01.2022 The Exaltation of the Cross. The liturgy of the Cross is a triumphant liturgy. When Moses lifted up the bronze serpent over the people, it was a foreshadowing of the salvation through Jesus when He was lifted up on the Cross. Our Mother Church sings of the triumph of the Cross, the instrument of our redemption. To follow Christ we must take up His cross, follow Him and become obedient until death, even if it means death on the cross. We identify with Christ on the Cross and ...become co-redeemers, sharing in His cross. We make the Sign of the Cross before prayer which helps to fix our minds and hearts to God. After prayer we make the Sign of the Cross to keep close to God. During trials and temptations our strength and protection is the Sign of the Cross. At Baptism we are sealed with the Sign of the Cross, signifying the fullness of redemption and that we belong to Christ. Let us look to the cross frequently, and realise that when we make the Sign of the Cross we give our entire self to God mind, soul, heart, body, will, thoughts. See more

12.01.2022 The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Saturday, August 15, 2020 Almighty ever-living God, Who assumed the Immaculate Virgin Mary, the Mother of your Son, body and soul into heavenly glory, grant, we pray, that, always attentive to the things that are above, we may merit to be sharers of her glory. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
