20.01.2022 You are invited to take a walk along the teddy bear trail that has been created by St Jude's children, families and Mirinjani residents. Over 100 bears have been placed along the trail, each one with an action you can do in its tummy. Thanks to all involved in creating a bear. Enjoy!

16.01.2022 Fete Day is just around the corner (March 14, in case you've forgotten)! This year we have all-new, all-exciting carnival rides! You can buy your all-day ride wristbands for just $25 before the fete, or $30 on the day. Individual rides cost $6, so a prepaid wristband is fantastic value! Plus, if we reach our target of 200 wristbands sold before fete day, we get MORE rides! Please note that children must be 110cm tall to ride the Storm and small children may need to ride with a parent or grown up on other rides. You can buy your wristbands on QKR or with cash via the form sent home last week. Plus, don't forget to purchase your Fete Mate while you are at it, for a delicious sausage, drink and other tasty treats. Fete Mates are just $6 or $5 when purchasing more than 4. Available on QKR or by cash and note to the front office.
15.01.2022 Yes, the Fete is still on! It's a little wet but we have moved lots of our stalls inside and we have marquees up to keep everyone as dry as possible. The rain is forecast to ease off and our all new carnival rides will be operating. Head on down if you want to snap up the best cakes, and don't forget to get your tickets for our amazing raffles! Plus, at 12pm we will find out who is going to Kiss the Goat!

05.01.2022 Fantastic news for anyone who missed it, our fete WILL be going ahead tomorrow. After receiving advice from the Chief Medical Officer, the PM this afternoon announced that non-essential, static events of more than 500 people should be cancelled from Monday onwards. This DOES NOT apply to our fete. The WHO recommends exercising good hand hygiene and reducing public activity for people experiencing symptoms as the most effective methods of reducing transmission. As such, we ha...ve ample hand washing facilities and will be providing additional hand sanitizer where necessary. I encourage you to bring your own as well if you have some. Additionally, if you are in one of the high risk categories for COVID-19, namely you are over 65 years old, have a respiratory condition, or a suppressed immune system, I would encourage you to carefully consider whether you wish to attend. If you are feeling unwell or displaying any flu-like symptoms, I would urge you not to attend. We hope our fete will be an enjoyable and successful event as we continue to live our lives as normally as possible through these unusual times. We hope to see you there! (Unless you're sick!)
03.01.2022 PLANT and HERB GROWERS WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!! St Jude’s Primary School are having their annual Fete on 14th March and are seeking donations of plants and herbs for their garden stall.
