20.01.2022 We would like to take this time to thank everyone who made it to the ‘Walk With M.E.’ Over 70 people were out walking in memory of Mary Ellen and other loved ones. This just goes to show you that their is always a great community around you in these hard times no matter what life throws at you. In memory of Mary Ellen, Port Phillip City Council along with St. Kevin's GAC have had the privilege to plant a tree in her memory at the Wattie Watson oval, Elwood. This area is at ...the training grounds of the club and we will keep her in our thoughts forever. (Blue dot on the photo below) It is a shared area so feel free to go down and pay your respects. The CROSS, St Kilda Duratec, Australia POINTFORCE LABOUR Australia Here We Come Although challenging in many ways, 2020 has been an up and down year for our club in which we saw our teams play some great football at the start of the year at the 9’s, 7’s and the men’s first league game and many Zoom socials to keep connected during the restrictions. One spectator took out and set up an elaborate hashish pipe and started puffing away, queue Tom Stack with an absolute Hail Mary kick pass with the outside of the boot that weirdly enough did not find its target, the poor guy was left holding the filter part of the pipe as the rest of it went flying through the air! 02.01.2022 On Friday 31st July we had some very game members take part in our first and probably last Adult quiz. It was not for the faint hearted . It was hosted by our very own Hurling coordinator Paraic Naughton and able assistant @Ali Lappin. Between them they put together 7 very interesting rounds to test the players knowledge.
