21.01.2022 Weather forecast for Thursday has resulted in an amended start time for Carols in the Quad Dear Parents and Caregivers, due to the extreme heat we have been experiencing and keeping in mind the welfare of students, I have made the decision to change the start of the Carols in the Quad from 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm. Tyler Street gates will now be open at 5:40 pm and all students are expected to be in their classrooms by 5:55 pm. ... Carols in the Quad will start promptly at 6:15 pm. 16.01.2022 Last night, hundreds of people spilled out of the StKieran Parish carpark in excitement to welcome Archbishop Timothy Costelloe SDB to bless the new prayer Shrine of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Father Wilson was joined by brother priests, parishoners, members of the community, school families, David Michael and City of Stirling Councillors to welcome His Grace and unveil the new statue of Our Lady of Good Counsel. This project is perhaps one of the finest displays of strong com...munity spirit in Perth as this build was achieved by hours of fundraising, labour skills, landscaping, kind donations, all by the parish community. 07.01.2022 St Kieran Mercy Day "The Great Shave" Due to Covid restrictions we are unable to raise money through Cake stands, games, facepaints etc Our amazing staff member Hester Alkemade proposed to shave her hair BUT ONLY if we raise $3000 At Lunch time today we had raised $1700 but a late generous donation at 2pm got us over the line, total amount raised $3000.15 THANK YOU to all who generously donated, it was overwhelming... & a big thank you to Hester Alkemade you are truly amazing. On Thursday 5 December, our K-Y6 community joined together to celebrate the Christmas season. Our children sang carols, told the story of Jesus birth with a nativity scene along with comical commentary from our master of ceremonies. One of the most beautiful things about our St Kierans Carols in the Quad is that everyone in our community has a part to play in its fruiti...on and success.
