23.01.2022 Welcome news for the kids (and the stir crazy parents)! In line with advice from SA Health, we will be working on reopening our playgrounds. St Kilda Adventure Playground will be open by the end of the week in time for the weekend. Please be aware social distancing will be in place and we will be changing over our signs to reflect this. As we cannot sanitise play equipment, you are encouraged to bring along your own hand wipes and sanitiser and make sure you wash your hands after use.

04.01.2022 Update on City of Salisbury response to COVID-19 (coronavirus) - 27 March 2020 ST KILDA ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND CLOSED St Kilda Adventure Playground is a large destination playground and a drawcard for families from across South Australia. Due to these factors, we are not able to effectively manage the risk of exposure and spread of COVID-19. In response, we have made the decision to close the playground to ensure the safety of our community.... If people choose to visit our other local outdoor gyms, playgrounds, parks and reserves, they are urged to practice caution and implement their own health measures. Signage depicting health and safety guidelines is being placed at these outdoor spaces across the City of Salisbury region. We are also conducting regular patrols to ensure health and hygiene advice is being followed including social distancing practices. This information is also being distributed both within flyers during patrols and via our website and social media platforms. 02.01.2022 Make the most of the last week of the school holidays and get outside, soak up the fresh air and get a bit of exercise in. You could take the family out to St Kilda Adventure Playground and bring the kite along too. The playground offers many attractions including a huge castle with slides and a draw bridge, a bouncy boomerang, flying fox, pirate ship, a large volcano with multiple slides, a basketball court, swings and more. It also has toilets, barbecues, a drinking fountain and picnic area.

01.01.2022 Update from City of Salisbury, SA, Australia with advice for use of parks, playgrounds and outdoor gyms We understand the importance of staying active and healthy, especially as the COVID-19 outbreak continues to evolve. Our community may continue to use local parks, reserves and playgrounds, but they must adhere to the Federal Government requirements for social distancing of 1.5 metres between individuals.... Community members who continue to use our play spaces and outdoor gyms must also take into consideration that these facilities cannot be sanitised. Council is monitoring the number of people using our popular play spaces and outdoor gyms and ensuring that social distancing is being adhered to. Please avoid these spaces if you are concerned about the risks to yourself or your children.
