25.01.2022 This is definitely on e of my favourites. Great work @Mitch Vane

24.01.2022 Where are you in your artistic painting journey... a) I have a secret longing to pick up pencils and paintbrushes and a little voice is whispering "do it!" but ...I have no idea where to start and to be honest I'm a little terrified to begin. It's been many years since I've dipped a brush in paint. b) I dabble here and there, try out lots of creative ideas, take some classes and would love to explore finding my own voice and cultivating my own style rather than emulating others. c) I never have a manicure because my fingernails are usually full of paint! I paint as often as I can and it is either a source of income or healing or fun, or a combination of all for me. I love taking new classes that challenge me to push outside of my comfort zone and learn new things to add to my artistic repertoire. Even if you Haven’t Painted For Days, Months or Years or if you’re a total beginner my Jump into Abstract Art Class is designed to help you get your creative juices flowing, as it has for thousands of others. The 5-video workshop will help you: See creative possibilities in unexpected places Embrace happy accidents in your own work Begin to think about your own unique voice Understand that art is a practice and NO-ONE is excluded from that Meet like-minded creative friends in our Facebook group Maybe/possibly/hopefully change your perspective on your own creative potential FOREVER! There’s never been a better time to create something that is just for you - a creative outlet that allows you to get away from it all for just a while. Jump into Abstract Painting, at just $27 for a lifetime of momentum, is just the thing. Get started now: https://tracyverdugo.com/jump-into-abstract-painting/

05.01.2022 HEADS HIGH EXHIBITION Karen is a Multi-disciplinary Afro Colombian artist based in Melbourne since 2017. Her work is feminine and self-explorative. Karen studi...ed graphic design and approached the ability to convert concepts, feelings and ideas into clear and objective artworks. Conversely, having the option to create, produce objects, combine textures, explore and mix materials freely, is a skill she has acquired over time. My Work is inspired by women; especially black women. I represent through my work the empowerment and self-acceptance of black women. My work is mixed media, my creative process starts from simple lines, to ink and finally to the colour stage that could be digital or hand-painted. I have chosen Mariam Issa, Co- founder of Space 2B Design, who is an inspiration and role model for me. I think she is the personification of the women that I illustrate in my work. Her work for the community and sharing of knowledge, ideas and love motivates me to keep creating and learning.
