22.01.2022 Congratulations to Leo Cartwright and Watson Blaikie for being awarded St Leo’s Sportsman of the Year and for making the Cultural Contribution of the Year. Separately, congratulations to Matt Foley (Leonian 1970), who received the UQ Alumnus of the Year award from the VC, Professor Debbie Terry at a dinner at Customs’ House on 28 October. Matt is photographed here with the VC, his son, Con, who plays 13 for the Red Heavies in the premier grade rugby final this weekend and t...he Head of College. Congratulations too to Rob Caslick (Leonian 1995-97), who was awarded a UQ Vice-Chancellor’s Alumni Excellence Award for his work with Twogood, a nationally renowned success story enabling survivors of domestic violence to re-enter the workforce and get on with their lives.
