19.01.2022 It's been a very a busy weekend here at SLBC. On Saturday afternoon we held a small Come & Try Day. It was a great few hours of bowls and new friendships. On Sunday afternoon we hosted UQ Wine & Cheese Club for some bowls, accompanied by wine, cheese and some lovely music! A big thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make this massive weekend a success!

14.01.2022 Unfortunately our Alex Gow Cup team was unable to win the final but did come second and received $300. Congratulations to Ferny Grove and thanks to the sponsor and all the players and organisers.

05.01.2022 We were very lucky to have a group of students from Women's College attend the club today as a fundraiser for their Do It In A Dress campaign! These Woozas are wearing a dress to raise awareness and funds for the education of girls in Sierra Leone and Uganda! 03.01.2022 Georgina and Alena making up Snack Packs of Crackers and Cheese and Sweet Biscuits ( 2 of each ) for distribution at Aveo at St Lucia. Hope those in the complex enjoy them !!

01.01.2022 Great to see so many people playing and attending the Pennants finals at the Club. Whilst we ran a very good second it was a great day and congratulations to Ferney Grove and Chermside teams both if whom played great bowls on the day. We look forward to 2021 when again we will look to winning a Pennant. Great effort by all our players on making the final and thanks for your efforts.
