19.01.2022 I'm sure it was just last month that our family was entering the doors of St Luke's for the first time, not knowing what to expect but hoping that we had found a faith community we could grow with. Fast forward almost 10 months and we are getting ready to celebrate our first Christmas with St Luke's! Tomorrow is the Sunday of Advent. Sunday of Advent and it marks a season of waiting with expectation and hope. While it has been a year where hope has often seemed to be missin...g or just beyond our reach, where God maybe has seemed hidden from us, Advent is a time for us to remember that yes, God is here and that yes, He sees us and cares for us. Let us approach Christmas this year with a renewed sense of hope that is deeply rooted in Christ. "For from days of old no one has heard, nor has ear perceived, Nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who works and acts in behalf of the one who [gladly] waits for Him." Isaiah 64:4 (AMP) (The readings for the first Sunday of Advent are: Isaiah 64:1-9, Psalm 80:1-7, 17-19, 1 Corinthians 1:3-9 and Mark 13:24-37)

19.01.2022 'Greater love has no one than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends'. On this Remembrance Day, we remember all those who served and who sacrificed, those who never came home and those who came home but were never the same, and the way their sacrifice points us to Jesus' ultimate sacrifice. #lestweforget #remembranceday #greaterlove

17.01.2022 We all know how easy it can be to let friendships take a back seat to everything else that is taking place in our lives. But true friendship is pivotal to our wellbeing! In the first sermon of our new series on 'Friendship', we learn about the importance of friendships and how 'true' friendship needs to be faithful and sacrificial.
