04.01.2022 Meet Tim, Health Promotion Support Officer at Katanning Health Service. Tim is helping to launch the new Katanning Needle and Syringe Exchange Program (NSEP). ...The NSEP is a public health initiative that aims to reduce harm associated with injecting drug use, and minimising the spread of bloodborne viruses in the community. The program provides free equipment, information, education and advice on: safe injection practices managing overdose safe handling and disposal of equipment. The new service is open 12noon - 4pm weekdays from the Katanning Hospital’s Francis Street entrance. Come say hey to Tim.
