18.01.2022 Today is Melbourne Cup Day and Leunig cartoon is telling. Let's keep learning that people are worth more than hats and that we need to feel as strongly about a the poor, hungry, lost and sick as we do about our broken Melbourne Cup experience.

18.01.2022 The amazing poem from President Biden's inauguration. What can we learn about being Christ-like from these words?

17.01.2022 This week we celebrate All Saints Day. Please join us using the links and information below. This week also sees a return to an indoor service with 10 people in the church. 14.01.2022 Last night I participated in a live stream which was the #ChangeTheHeart Service for 2021. If you have not seen this before, I commend it to you for your next moment of reflection.

12.01.2022 St Luke's will be worshipping indoors today as it is an extreme weather day. To book your attendance at any service that is being held indoors, please use the link: https://www.trybooking.com/BOEVM Bookings will be open the week before the service and finish 7.00pm on the night before the service.... To access the service stream for today click here: http://youtu.be/xAnAtiriaMY To access the service booklet click here: http://1drv.ms/b/s!AhT6zoPNpSWj1WYNOWSEgG7Rq1P6?e=bijBD6 To access the kids activities please click here: http://1drv.ms/u/s!AhT6zoPNpSWj015laASSGR8qZI3z?e=ClhRj9 To access the TMA please click here: http://1drv.ms/u/s!AhT6zoPNpSWjzTWsBr21WkGhEQ3B?e=zDc0Rf To access our service archive click here: http://1drv.ms/u/s!AhT6zoPNpSWjvWAuQxbz9DH_nPPH?e=LTOimC To view the instructions on how to use QR Code scanner: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v63hb2RA0n4 I encourage you to share the link with others that may still choose to remain physically isolated until a vaccine is found. We must also remember those who will remain physically isolated even after there is a vaccine and make sure they feel connected. Continue making lemonade out of lemons for God's glory. If you find there is no motion or sound please close your window and click on the link again as you may have opened it too early. If you have prayers, type them in the chat section and they will be read out during the service. The kids activities include a video sermon, an activities booklet and a video which tells you how to do the activity. A booklet is included at Junior School and Middle School level for you to do with the kids throughout the week. So if you have nothing to do with the kids, spend 30 minutes doing a chapel activity with the kids. Donations during Offertory time for those online and attending will need to continue to be electronic. I know people have been affected a lot by cashflow issues as their salary is affected by an every changing work environment but let us remember the widow who gave two copper coins (Luke 21:2) and give out of our poverty during this time. The account information is: Account Name St Luke’s Anglican Church BSB 703 122 Account Number 05004904 If anything goes wrong I won't know. The service will continue and I will look at the feedback after the service. Use your SMS, Email or Facebook comment to send me information which will be viewed at the conclusion of the service. Once Jesus is with us then I have no other focus but abiding in Him who is our salvation and doing the worship service. God bless you and wherever you are may the Holy Spirit enter your hearts, mind and souls and while we worship we ask that the Holy Spirit empower your connection to the service and place a hedge of protection around you so that no evil is present. AMEN! Reverend Robert Koren.

08.01.2022 When we are ambassadors for Christ, how we act matters. Is this the way our King wants us act in releasing His kingdom on Earth?

08.01.2022 As we all approach the service of Christ the King, let's take a moment to recall some of our King's teachings.

05.01.2022 Midweek funny... a bit of a tongue in cheek thought....

03.01.2022 I am back from leave and on feeling on fire from my rest!! I am so on fire that we have a very very hot Sunday coming up! As it will be very hot on Sunday, our extreme weather plan requires that we do our service indoors. The current government guidelines allow us to cater for 20 people as long as: Everyone attending is wearing a mask We remain 1.5m apart We can have 2sqm per person so long as all people who are there have registered.... To register your attendance please use the link to our Trybooking system: https://www.trybooking.com/BOEVM If there are any issues in booking a place, please contact Jenny who is the Parish Secretary. We will continue streaming our services and all the information for that will be sent out 8am Sunday morning. Look forward to having you join our service and worship with us.
