25.01.2022 Michael Lawrence plays Dr Bradman It’s been some time since Michael appeared in a St Luke’s production. You may remember Michael’s memorable performances as the son-in-law in Squabbles and one of the sons in Come Blow your Horn. 22.01.2022 Desley Nichols plays Madame Arcati Desley is a well-known and well-loved St Luke’s personality. How can anyone forget her great role as Elizabeth in the farce Home is where your Clothes are. Desley plays Madame Arcati, the madcap mystic who is invited to give a séance by Charles and Ruth Condomine. Unknown to her, Charles will be using her techniques and mannerisms for his new book. 16.01.2022 DIRECTOR - TREVOR BOND Trevor has been directing plays ever since he can remember. He started in the 1960s producing plays for Coorparoo Theatre group for the Warana Drama Festival. Since then he has directed plays and musicals for Villanova Players, Balmoral Players, South Burnett Musical Comedy Society and Kingaroy Theatre. As well, during his time as Principal of some Queensland country schools, Trevor produced the annual school musicals which were appreciated by the community. Trevor enjoys directing and seeing various plays come to life. Hopefully Trevor can keep doing this as long as he is able.

16.01.2022 Maddie Bickerdike plays Ruth Maddie last appeared in Table Manners playing the long-suffering Sarah. In another such role, she plays Charles’s second wife Ruth, a woman where everything must have its place. 13.01.2022 Matthew Hobbs plays Charles Matt is a well-known and popular St Luke’s actor and director. He plays Charles Condomine, a popular English author. By way of research for his new book The Unseen, he and his second wife Ruth invite a local mystic Madame Arcati to perform a séance so Charles can note her ‘tricks of the trade’ for his book. 13.01.2022 Philippa Dwyer plays Edith Philippa is a well-known and well-loved St Luke’s personality. She has been involved at St Luke’s since she was a child. In Blithe Spirit Philippa plays Edith the maid, who is very anxious to please and provides some welcomed comedy relief to the play. 11.01.2022 Imogen Fitzpatrick plays Elvira Imogen too, last appeared in Table Manners and now plays Elvira, Charles’s first wife, who is brought back from the afterlife through a séance lead by medium Madame Arcati at the home of Charles Condomine and Ruth, his second wife. 03.01.2022 Karen Neale plays Mrs Bradman Karen last thrilled St Luke’s audiences when play the two nurses in The Sunshine Boys. In Blithe Spirit Karen plays Mrs Violet Bradman an invited guest and witness, along with her husband to the séance held by Charles and Ruth. Mrs Bradman is prone to saying silly and irrelevant things, She is very excited about the séance and contributes to the fun of the event. 02.01.2022 STAGE MANAGER - CHRIS SIBLEY Chris is a well known and much loved St Luke’s personality. She brings her skills and talent to Blithe Spirit but this is not the first time she has staged managed. She did an excellent job with Table Manners and has also lent her hand in other St Luke’s productions. She is also a good actress and has ‘tread the boards’ in a number of St. Luke’s plays as well as appeared in some Villanova Players productions.
