Following the Premier's announcement of Stage 3 Restrictions for regional Victoria, the Directors have made a decision to close our reception to our individual tax clients and visitors, and move back to a contactless operation. This will come into effect on Thursday, 6 August 2020. For those individual tax return clients who have already made an appointment to h...ave their tax returns prepared, we will contact you today to change your appointment over to a telephone appointment. We also have a totally contactless, email or mail preparation and lodgement service, which clients can utilise. These changes include: new 1 July 2020 employment test date for JobKeeper payments from 3 August, which provides an opportunity for the following employees to become eligible: new full time and part time employees that commenced employment after 1 March 2020 but before 1 July 2020,... casual employees employed at 1 March 2020 but not eligible for JobKeeper at that time based on duration of service, employees who were under 18 years of age at 1 March 2020 who have since turned 18 before 1 July 2020. requirement to obtain JobKeeper nomination forms for new employees by 21 August. payment extension to 31 August 2020 for payment of JobKeeper fortnights (3 and 17 August) for new employees. no retest for employees already enrolled in JobKeeper.
