17.01.2022 Mr Dave Sharma, Member for Wentworth paid a visit to ST MM's today... Last year, our students were able to convince Mr Sharma, through a series of letters, that the school was in need of a toilet in the Kinder room and a 3D Printer. 12.01.2022 Our school is so proud of Year 5 student James... James exhibits an amazing artistic talent and is very humble when he shares this with our community. James' Christmas Story art piece has been selected to be displayed in St Mary's Cathedral. 12 000 students entered the competition, 742 finalists were chosen and from that, 95 artworks were chosen for the virtual competition which will be available in the first week of Advent. This is a highly competitive competition and Jame...s' entry places him amongst other esteemed artists. Additionally, for Book Week, James HANDMADE his own Scout Trooper costume. James used foam, hot glue, spray paint and paint to create a 3D costume for himself. This process took 4 weeks and 2 days of designing and making. James, we are so proud of all your efforts. An absolute star in the making!

10.01.2022 Our Year 6 Bank Clerks are rollin' in $$$!!! This term our senior students will be "paid" to come to school in order to pay their "bills". Their bills include, use of school wi-fi, electricity and even use of their chair! This is one example of how our teachers make learning meaningful for our students!

10.01.2022 Our students enjoyed a visit from WORLD of MATHS today! All students were presented with mathematics based hands on activities that required them to collaborate and problem solve! No doubt about it... our kids were up for the challenge!

07.01.2022 NAIDOC Week 2020... Always was, Always will be. St Margaret Mary's would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of this land, the Gadigal people, who have walked and cared for this land for thousands of years, and their ancestors who maintain these spiritual connections. May we remember that under this concrete and stone this is and always will be traditional Aboriginal land.
