The ‘Glider’ was part of the Year 4 STEM program where students explored concepts around physical forces and energy coupled with design and technology. Students will enjoy the use of unicycles, hula hoops, juggling balls, diablo, flower sticks, poi, stilts and even try their hand at plate spinning and acrobatics. This activity is suitable for children in Years 2-8. The cost per student is $55. 13.01.2022 ONE BIG THING | For last year's Year 2 Petersen, the One Big Thing was undoubtedly their unexpected adventure on their way to an excursion at Buckingham House. For those who may have missed the update last year, some police officers provided some much needed support (and a bit of entertainment) when smoke was spotted coming from the bus engine. After escorting the then Year 2s (now very grown up Year 3s!) to a safe place, the officers kept the students distracted and focused on everything other than the wait for a replacement vehicle. The students sent lovely letters to the officers, as well as a note to the WA Police Commissioner. We were excited to receive a response from the Office of the Commissioner of Police not long after the big adventure! #thankyou #wapolice #onebigthing

01.01.2022 The Year 6 2021 cohort have had an amazing day, getting to know each other, their teachers, and the School, as well as having heaps of fun. From handprints to slime, from cooking to games, even building microcircuits to make reaction timers! Plus, of course, there was a sausage sizzle and new play equipment to try out. The Class of 2027 have certainly done a lot in just a few hours! We look forward to seeing them again at Orientation Day in January 2021.
