24.01.2022 Hey Mums and Dads! Grandmas and Grand Dads! Hey Kids! Starting this Sunday at Saint Mark's!

24.01.2022 Just something to ponder today... I definitely need to find all of these at the moment. I hope you all are doing okay

24.01.2022 Something that we all need to be reminded of at times, no matter who we are.

23.01.2022 With the re-opening of Saint Marks Anglican Church Casino, I would like to personally extend an invitation to anyone who has never come to Church, and to those that have not been for some time. There is no doubt that this year has been full of difficult changes in our lives. But we all still have the ability to bring good changes into our lives as well. This is your invitation to bring something good into your life. - Aaron Coates

22.01.2022 It is always good when we can pause and take time to acknowledge even the smallest blessing in our lives. Goodness knows we give ourselves a lot of opportunities to focus on the negative moments. So let's turn it around, and share with each other the good things that we've experienced. My recent blessing comes from a visit to All Souls Anglican Church in Bangalow this week, where I was shown this beautiful stain glass window that came from their previous Church.... So what has been a blessing in your life recently?

22.01.2022 Hey everyone! Great news! Saint Mark's Anglican Church is re-opening this Sunday the 9th of August! For more details, feel free to contact us at the office on 6662 1018.

22.01.2022 We are at the last love tip today. It comes from Proverbs 13:12 Promise without forgetting. This is a powerful thing! How often do we say I will do .....and we forget. We all get busy and crazy in our life but when we make a commitment /promise and carry through this shows our love to others. Blessings ... Susan See more

20.01.2022 This is a beautiful prayer Be present, merciful God , and protect us through the hours of this night: that we, who are wearied by the changes and chances of this fleeting world , may rest on your eternal changelessness; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen Blessings everyone Susan

20.01.2022 So is half a sermon okay. ...asking for a friend. Susan

16.01.2022 Maundy Thursday

16.01.2022 Tomorrow is Palm Sunday, the start of Holy Week. We have decided to ring our church bells at 9 am tomorrow, and every day after that until ..... This is intended as a reminder to our community that even though the church building is closed, the church has not shut down. We have chosen 9 am daily as it is the traditional start of the working day. It says to those who are working: we are praying for you and appreciate all that you are doing. It says to those who have lost the...ir jobs: we are praying for you and sending love and hope. It says to all of us : look after each other! The 12 rings, for the 12 apostles, remind us that we are all called and sent out to love and serve one another. See more

16.01.2022 A wonderful service shared with Bishop Murray on Sunday! Special thanks also to Pam Sullivan for her integrity and much needed heartfelt prayers

16.01.2022 Good afternoon everybody, I really don't know quite where to go with reflection today, if anyone has any thoughts hit me up in the comments or hit us up in the comments if you have any other thought you want to share. I would like to share Saturday evenings prayer for today with you all. Lord of lights, receive the prayer and praise we offer you as our evening sacrifice; make us a light for all the world, delivered by your goodness from all the works of darkness; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord. Amen

13.01.2022 Colossians 3:13 Love tip for today Forgive without punishing. This is very tricky isn't it. Jesus was big on the forgiveness stuff, the whole 70 x 7 thing!... I definitely think this is something worth trying. If we can forgive and not punish, it shows self love as well as love to the person we are forgiving. When we can let go we can stop reliving hurts we can move forward. This doesn't necessarily mean we will forget what has caused the hurt but we can rebuild a relationship and not live in the past. Therefore we aren't punishing ourselves and others. Blessings Susan See more

11.01.2022 Missed Sunday? No problem! Don't forget our Wednesday services at 10:30 am. All welcome! Especially if you are considering coming to Church but are not quite sure what happens. This is a great way to begin.

10.01.2022 Today's love tip comes from Philippines 2:14 Enjoy without complaint. I think back to how nany times I don't do this. ..instead of relishing the moment I complain that..we should do this more often, or have more time or money or whatever! Stop the complaining, enjoy the gift we have been given whatever it may be. Blessings ... Susan See more

10.01.2022 Prayer for a Pandemic by Cameron Bellm May we who are merely inconvenienced Remember those whose lives are at stake May we who have no risk factors... Remember those most vulnerable May we who have the luxury of working from home Remember those who must choose between preserving their health or making their rent May we who have the flexibility to care for our children when their schools close Remember those who have no choice May we who have to cancel our trips Rember those that have no place to go May we who are losing our margin money in the tumult of economic market Remember those who who have no margin at all May we who settle in for quarantine at home Remember those who have no home During this time when we cannot physically wrap our arms around each other Let us find ways to be the living embrace of God to our neighbors. Amen Heard this lovely poem on Sunday written by a young American and felt that I needed to share it with you all Robyn Cooper

09.01.2022 This is why we are wearing masks and social distancing at Church:

09.01.2022 Come Holy Spirit Prayer Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth. O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, ... Amen. May you all have a blessed day Susan
