25.01.2022 5 out of 5 stars. 5 days ago Calm, Classy and Beautiful A peaceful haven, blending classical beauty with relaxing comfort. We had an amazing experience in this exquisite, elegant apartment, with its ambiance of calm, old world charm, tasteful furnishings and décor and many thoughtful touches that made one feel welcome, like the array of interesting books to delve into and an invitation to ask about anything we were not sure of. I thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the tapestries. On the practical side, we appreciated the information about the locality, the various foods and beverages left for us, including teas, coffee, biscuits and chocolates, the extremely effective air-conditioning, large, modern bathroom and immaculate cleanliness throughout. We would highly recommend St Mark's for a comfortable, restful stay.

25.01.2022 Dont know how I missed this! After Cheap Oil After Cheap Oil Is it art or a place to park your bike?... It's both! After Cheap Oil, created by artist Paul Anderson, is a new artwork with a practical use! Located in front of SoMA Galleries on The Parade, After Cheap Oil is also a place to park your bike. The sculpture is made of used car parts and aims to raise issues of sustainability in an amusing and practical way. "The intention of the sculpture," says Anderson "is to prompt public consideration of what the world will do with all the cars when all the oil runs out!" 16.01.2022 Our latest Review:- Karin's place is that sort of place you would like to bottle and take home with you. The place is real soul food. I came feeling like a wreck from work and I left so happy and refreshed. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and we could not have celebrated it in a more wonderful place. 15.01.2022 January 2016 The apartment itself is on of the most unique travel experiences I've encountered. Beautiful and very well appointed, The church is in a great location. Quiet, residential neighborhood, but very easy access to CBD. There is also a nice resto/pub just around the corner. Karin is a wonderful host, offering access to her own home and amenities if needed or wanted, but also leaving guests to enjoy their own privacy. Highly recommended.Douglas USA

12.01.2022 Review October 2015 - Melbourne Family We had a lovely time staying at the church. It was so clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed, and we were surprised with all the breakfast supplies. My daughter had a wonderful time hunting out all the chocolates that you had left around the church. There were a few she missed though, but I ended up telling her on our last night. You’re located in such a great spot. We really enjoyed the parade, so close to Adelaide too, an...d Pinfold’s wines which we enjoyed too. 11.01.2022 St Marks is installing an oak spiral staircase. This will lead to a upstairs new Bed & Breakfast available in November. It will feature the huge cathedral ceilings and large lead light windows.

08.01.2022 We were visited last Saturday by a couple who were married in St. Marks 57 years ago. The area where the register was signed is now my kitchen. It was wonderful to hear about St. Marks when is was a real "working" church.

Fantastic location close to transport, shops, delis, cafes and restaurants. The Red Robin Christmas Market will be held on the weekend of Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December 2013, at the convenient location of 95 South Terrace, Adelaide from 10am to 4pm. This bustling Christmas market is proudly presented by Beautifulmind Beautifulworld (BMBW), an organisation which aims to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged people in developing countries.... The Red Robin Christmas Market is a popular BMBW annual event, which brings together an eclectic range of arts and crafts from all corners of the globe and supports the Fair Trade social movement. This year, stallholders from the vibrant African Twilight Market will also be participating in the event.
01.01.2022 If your visiting The Church or Adelaide this week check out Morialta Waterfall. This photo was taken 2 hours ago and I've never seen so much water in it. The creek is roaring, blossoms are everywhere and as usual there are koalas & cockatoos along the track to the falls. We are so lucky in Norwood to be 5 minutes from the city centre yet a quick drive in the opposite direction and we are in the middle of nature at the waterfall.
01.01.2022 Due to our Award 2013 Best Romance SA. We have been busier than ever. The only dates remaining for 2013 are 25-30th November. The church celebrated its 103 birthday this month so we are offering one day free with any booking for November.
01.01.2022 A recent review I spent one night here with my mother and six-year-old granddaughter on our way back to Melbourne from Kangaroo Island. This completely self-contained accommodation is absolutely exquisite. It has charm, elegance, serenity and comfort. I have always longed to stay in a church and I don't think I could have found a more beautiful abode, with what I believe are very reasonable rates. My only disappointment was I couldn't stay longer. I hope to get back one day for a more extended visit. Thank you Karin for your friendly welcome and the extra special touches like the flowers and cookies. Kate from Melbourne
