16.01.2022 So what career path do you follow if you have a strong interest in business and economics, and are keen to use your creative skills and problem-solving abilities? For St Mark's Old Scholar, Melissa Davison (Class of 2012), it meant discovering her niche after completing her degree. Something we think will help other young graduates, as well as current St Mark' students, to know that you don't have to have all the answers straight away. #pathwaystosuccess #stmarksosa #careerinspiration #fulfilandsucceed #ourbestselves

14.01.2022 Did you know we have THREE Old Scholars amongst the nominees for the WiTWA Tech[+] Award 2020 - Alana Em (2001), Michelle Chomiak (1991) and Chris Upstone (1997, nominated as an Outstanding Diversity Ally). Voting is open until 7th October at this link https://lnkd.in/gQ9gWMq... You can vote for up to 5 nominees - so why not vote for our Old Scholars?

13.01.2022 The soon-to-be members of the Old Scholars' Association, the Class of 2020, have been challenged to a game of dodgeball. So can the young-uns beat an experienced team made up of past students from 1990 to 2019? Only way to know is to be there on 18 October from 1pm! And there is free food and a chance to catch up. Bring a buddy! RSVP here (or just turn up on the day!) https://tinyurl.com/y5br5uce

13.01.2022 Congratulations to the 2020/21 Old Scholars' Association Committee, elected at last night's Annual General Meeting: President - Andy Gray (1992) Vice President - Franzl Shannon (1991) Treasurer - Neil Gerrard (1999)... Secretary - Amy Aldous (2000, nee Maxwell) General Committee - Shontelle Curtis-Smith (2002), Jamie Pryer (2002), Jo-Dee Mansell (1994), Andrew Coffin (1990), and Chris Upstone (1997) The Motion to Amend the Constitution saw option 1 (retaining the current name) carried by the majority of attendees, with one abstention. After the motion was carried, the attendees all agreed that while the name was to remain the same, the OSA's visual identity (logo) and 'nickname' should be updated, and the wider community involved in this process, with this topic to be added to the agenda for the October Committee Meeting.

13.01.2022 Reminder the next OSA meeting is tomorrow 7pm. If you have any agenda items please send to [email protected] https://fb.me/e/312qvB1sc
