12.01.2022 The first in our upcoming sermon series ‘Reading the Bible for all it’s worth’ will be this Sunday 9th August with the topic ‘Reading with children’ While we are working through this series you might like to have a look at some of the short videos ( 5-15 minutes ) from the Bible Project website which talk about how to read the Bible’s different types of writings, some key words and themes in the scriptures, summaries of the thrust of the books of the bible and more. They are... both easy to understand for the average person yet from a scholarly background. You can find these here >>>> https://bibleproject.com/explore/how-to-read-the-bible/ We hope you can join us online this Sunday :) https://www.facebook.com/events/473628820183288/

11.01.2022 Often, and for many certainly now, we can be immersed with events and feelings. They may wear us down with the persistency of their demands. We find we cannot change events, people or ourselves. Now is the time when we know there is a rock in the dark. Not an impassive rock but Love stronger than any earthly rock. Love that knows us, knows those we love, knows our fears and strengths and knows the mind of the Father and what is good.... 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

03.01.2022 This week at St Mark's - Sunday 4 October **Please do be aware that Daylight Saving starts this Weekend** Join us for a Holy Communion Service Service at 10am via Zoom or Facebook live... Theme: Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

01.01.2022 Covid 19 restrictions update: Covid 19 restrictions are continuing on longer than we all hoped, and we do not have a date on which we know we can re-enter the St Mark's building. Yet preparations for re-entry to the Church building are almost complete. The Church has been cleaned and thoroughly prepared. It is likely that social distancing restrictions will still be in place when we do return. This will require changes to the layout within the church so the first 2-3 weeks w...ill involve some trial arrangements which can be changed to fit what best suits. Some of the concepts are positively interesting. The most important thing is that each of you stay well and also cope with lock down. Please keep praying for the situation across our world, nation and state - and all those affected by the difficulties it brings to individuals and families. Please keep supporting each other and others beyond our congregation. Please don't hesitate to ask others for help should you need it.
