14.01.2022 Today we combine our St Peter's and St Martin's Contemporary online church at 10am and 6pm for the first time as we come to the magnificent John 13! Here Jesus vividly illustrates his death by humbly washing his disciples' feet, because he knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Please join as we gather online at either:... --> https://stmartinskillara.online.church --> https://stpetes.online.church/ There is a change of focus from his last public sermon we heard in Chapter 12, Jesus now turns to his own and shows them his amazing love. All of this is driven by an extraordinary and passionate love that we will never deserve, and never tire of exploring. What a joy to reflect his foot washing (which is largely symbolic), for what we see is that its a sign of who Jesus is, his power, and pattern of life for us. It's just what we need. Catch up anytime on online at: http://stmartinskillara.org/online https://www.stpetes.church/online-church

14.01.2022 RELAUNCH UPDATE: Tomorrow we are very excited to begin our relaunch of Sunday gatherings at 10am (with a holiday kids program). Simon Manchester will continue our series DEEP FAITH IN A SHALLOW WORLD from 2 Corinthians 3-5 and this Sunday the focus is: "We do not lose heart" 2 Cor 4:1-18 We have a COVID-19 Safety Plan and are committed to keeping you safe. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell and enjoy the livestream. ... If you have travelled to Victoria you need to be familiar with and abide by the NSW Government regulations with regard to 14 days of 'immediate self-isolation' on return to NSW. Yes, we are going to attempt a livestream for those not able to join us in person (please be patient as this is our first time going "live"!) https://stmartinskillara.online.church/ The sermon outline will be available at church BUT please bring your own pen and bible. Please arrive 15 minutes beforehand to allow time for hand sanitising, check-in, and to grab a cup of tea or coffee, find a seat and enjoy some physically distanced mingling. Please be aware that no congregational singing is allowed. At the end of the service you will need to pick up children from the program and all people will need to leave the church building (as we need to clean the church at the end of our services). We then encourage you to organise with others from church to go out for a coffee or a meal or invite people to your home to safely continue in fellowship together. Note: the St Martin's 8am online church will have a one off sermon by Simon Guillebaud on from Psalm 13 on "How Long?" and then will resume the series with Simon Manchester from 19 July. Of course everyone is also welcome to come to our Wednesday 10am Communion at St Martins.

12.01.2022 This Sunday we begin a new series on purpose from John 12-13. As we make plans to return to gatherings over the next few months we are asking God to send us out in a new way. What does it mean for us? Please join as we gather online for our 8am Communion and 10am Contemporary --> https://stmartinskillara.online.church... What we are going to see over the next 5 weeks is that in the time before he died, Jesus prepared his disciples to go out into the world. In John 12-13 Jesus is equipping his disciples, ready to be sent out in Gods mission. And so he can instruct and equip us in these unprecedented times. Finding purpose is all about the glory of God. There is nothing more important than the glory of God. Why? Do you want meaning in life? Are you concerned about the world? The key is the glory of God. Catch up anytime on online at: http://stmartinskillara.org/online
