25.01.2022 Our market garden has started to produce for students to take home produce. Thank you to the staff and students who have helped grow and care for the crops this term.

22.01.2022 This term Years 2 to 4 had Violin Lessons across the term. Information about how to continue these lessons and take violins home to practice will be coming during the holidays.

20.01.2022 Our new playground elements are on track to be finished early next week. It will be an exciting and challenging addition to our lunchtime play which is very welcome.

12.01.2022 Across the holidays we are having minor building work occurring for a new playground installation and fencing. We also asked our students to be part of designing ideas for the land next door. We look forward to implementing some of the great ideas into our master planning:

12.01.2022 The sun is shining and our new solar panel powering our new fish pond is loving it. We can’t wait for our new native dish to arrive in a few weeks time.

10.01.2022 Our new playground will start to take more shape next week with mulch and edging completing the build. We look forward to starting term 4 with our students enjoying the new space.

08.01.2022 Congratulations to Albie this morning for his appearance and efforts on the Sunrise quiz this morning. Albie represented St Mary of the Cross and QLD with aplomb. We loved his decorations with QLD references in the background and even an appearance of our school hat. Thank you to Albie and his family for getting up early and continuing the quiz across the morning. Thank you to @sunriseon7 and @sammac for the opportunity. Queenslander.

08.01.2022 We hope you are all enjoying your holiday break in this beautiful sunshine. A reminder that Monday, 5th October is a Public Holiday. School resumes for an exciting Term 4 on Tuesday, 6th October.

06.01.2022 During week two twelve students will be chosen to sing on the professional recording of our new school song at Griffith University. The song recognises our 90 years of history and the hope and excitement of many more. We look forward to sharing our finished product later this term.

05.01.2022 After one day we have got a lot done. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to upgrade our school grounds, play spaces and teaching resources in this break. We can’t wait to keep you updated with further stages over the next two weeks.

02.01.2022 Our senior students loved their day out at Urban Extreme. They are all very quiet after a big morning of activity climbing, throwing and bouncing.
