17.01.2022 Vinnie's Christmas Appeal As we quickly approach the end of the school year it is that time again when we show our support of the St Vincent De Paul Society Queensland Christmas Appeal. Our school goal is to collect at least 200 cans/tinned or bottled food items. These can simply be dropped in at the school office or left beneath the Christmas Tree which will be at the Charism path each morning. We look forward to another great Christmas Appeal before we launch into 2021!

12.01.2022 Students and staff were treated to a performance from our school instrumental band today. In a year that hasn't given the band many opportunities to perform, it was a great opportunity to showcase their talent to the whole school. It was easy to see how many hours of practice the students have undertaken this year. A special thanks to Mrs Hoban who does such a fantastic job, teaching and conducting our instrumental students. Her hard work and dedication are an asset to our students and school community.

10.01.2022 We will miss you greatly Ms Davitt and look forward to seeing you at end of year celebrations in the future.

03.01.2022 It's that time of year again when we say a big THANK YOU to all our volunteers for their assistance during the school year. The school leadership team, staff and students greatly appreciate the time, effort and hard work our volunteers commit, and value their contributions which enhance our school community in so many ways. If you have volunteered in any way - big or small - we welcome you to join us at Across the Waves Sports Club on Tuesday 24th November at 10AM to share in our thank you morning tea.

02.01.2022 On Wednesday, we celebrated Ash Wednesday with all students and staff participating in a Liturgy of the Word with Father Peter. During the Liturgy ashes were blessed and distributed by a sprinkling on the head. This ritual of being blessed with ash is an expression of our faith, as we all promised to ‘Try to be more like Jesus’. While this may sound like an easy promise, it is fact an enormous commitment. The idea of giving to others through acts of kindness is a wonderful way for our children to prepare for the Easter season.

01.01.2022 Congratulations to the Year 6 students who received their leadership badges at our Leadership Induction Liturgy today. Congratulations also to the students who received their Charism Captain badges. A big thank you to all the parents and friends who attended and also to Father Peter Tonti.
