15.01.2022 Congratulations to the College community for another successful College concert.
14.01.2022 Some sad news for our College community as we learn that Mr Lawrence Lim passed away on Friday afternoon. Mr Lim was a dedicated teacher for many years at SMCC, with a very caring and patient spirit. Current and former teachers and students alike have shared some great memories of him over the past week - especially of his good humour and teaching methods. His support of many, whether it be through extra tutoring, table tennis coaching, or a simple smile down the hallways are... certainly lasting memories of his generosity. His family are very grateful to all of the SMCC community for their prayers and thoughts over the past few weeks. They are especially thankful to those who are able to contribute to the GoFundMe page setup to assist the family at this time. Due to personal reasons, the family are in need of this support and so any money raised will go towards his funeral and outstanding medical costs. If you wish to still donate, you can do so via https://www.gofundme.com/help-support-lawrence-in-his-time- God bless you Mr Lim. Thank you for your many years of committed service. May your soul now be at peace as you enjoy your eternal reward.
12.01.2022 Happy Easter to all our Old Boys! We hope you have a blessed (and safe) day.
12.01.2022 A funeral service for Mr Lawrence Lim will be held in the East Chapel of Northern Suburbs Memorial Gardens and Crematorium, next Friday 7 June commencing at 1:30pm. SMCC Alumni are welcome to attend and are encouraged to wear the college tie or lapel pin.
11.01.2022 We might still be in COVID times, however, the tradition of musical talent continues in the Alumni of SMCC! Congratulations to Timothy James Bowen who recently appeared on 'The Voice'. Although he didn't take out the victory this year, he certainly was a favourite for many and we are sure he will continue his musical career! Take a listen to this amazing track from the semi-finals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGl6KMTqs_0... During recent months, Phoenix Central Park has also featured performances by Marcello Maio and Ethan Taylor on their channel. Check them out: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUy4KU7qbS0Leqz27lDqdLw

01.01.2022 Sad news today at the passing of a dear friend to many in the College community, Sr Virginia Wilkinson RSC. Sister Virginia worked in the learning support unit for many years and supported hundreds of students. Her gentle and caring presence will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered.
