15.01.2022 St. Mary's is a proud supporter of The Daniel Morcombe Foundation which was established in honour of Daniel Morcombe to make Australia a safer place for children. It was founded by parents Bruce and Denise after their son was abducted and murdered in December 2003 while waiting to catch a bus on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. The aims of the Foundation are to educate chidlren and young people about how to stay safe in physical and online environments and to support young victims of crime.

14.01.2022 The Annette Storer Shield is awarded to the house with the most house points for the year. Congratulations Marina, our House Champions for 2020. Our very proud Year 6 Marina leaders were happy to hold the shield for Marina for the first time since 2014.

13.01.2022 All the children that play for St John’s JRL (minus year 5 students who were on an excursion) sang the Panthers song for our very own Isaah Yeo along with fellow St Johns JRL junior - Matt Burton. We are all pumped for Sunday and wish the Dubbo boys the best of luck. The players all knew the words well as St. John’s JRL club song is based on the Panthers team song. Isaah’s cousin and Year 6 leader, Cooper Townsend, led the cheer with plenty more of Yeo’s cousins cheering on... as well. Looking forward to Sunday! 11.01.2022 We have loved welcoming to our school community the new Kindergarten children for 2021 throughout our 5 session transition program that has occurred this term. Starting school is an exciting and important time of change for children and families. Helping children to feel confident and positive about school will ensure they transition to school more easily and smoothly. The teachers have got to know the beautiful children. The children have established new friends and are fam...iliar with school routines. The kindy kids are now ready to tackle big school life. They even got to meet their future Year 6 buddy today. #Bringon2021 #futureisbright #positivetransition
