24.01.2022 Hatchlings Update! Look how much they are changing! 9 days old.
24.01.2022 "Eye-so 2020" Project What has Remote Learning 2020 looked like for you? We are all part of history in the making! St Marys School wants to document what learning remotely looks like for you and your family. ... If you have a mobile device, iPad or camera we would love you to take some interesting photos with your camera and apply a black and white filter. You can take photos from different or interesting angles or objects in a space that show how you are learning at home. Make your photo tell your remote learning story! Pick your best photo, add a black and white filter, rename your file with your name and email your best 1 or 2 to Mrs Dicker this week! [email protected] We hope to display the photographs like a gallery at school for when we return onsite and possibly make some books for our library to look back on. Would you like to be part of St Marys remote learning history? Then grab your camera and get snapping away! We have had some beautiful images coming in already! Check them out below.

20.01.2022 Under the heat of the sun, Year 6 students were again challenged by staff members during their lunch break, however this time it was in the form of a friendly game of European Handball. Students had the numbers with rolling subs and youth on their side but it seemed they didn’t quite have enough to beat the teachers who were a force to be reckoned with. It seems Mr Larkin is making a name for himself as ‘The Difference!’ Teachers won, 9-7.

13.01.2022 Tuesday 9th February 2021 is Safer Internet Day. We encourage our community to 'start the chat' about online safety at home. All students this term will be learning about the ways they can keep themselves safe online. It's been very encouraging to hear from the students in Year 2 and Year 3 today that they are aware of some simple things they do at home that keeps themselves safe. It might be using nicknames, not sharing private information online, not being underage on app...s such as tiktok, reporting cyberbullying or understanding netiquette! The impact of remote learning on our children is visible in the skills and knowledge they have in navigating a device! Our children are very clever! So please 'start the chat' at home tonight on how we keep our children safe online.
