22.01.2022 This week, St Mary’s celebrated another wonderful Chinese Culture Day, which is always a fabulous way to acknowledge our learning from Mandarin specialist classes.

20.01.2022 Grand Final fever came to St Mary’s today, as we celebrated our annual Footy Colours Day. It was fabulous to see the students enjoying all the things we love about football! Best of luck to the Geelong Cats and the Richmond Tigers for Saturday’s Grand Final.

17.01.2022 Today is All Saints' Day, an opportunity to reflect on the example the Saints offer us. It is also a timely reminder for our Year 6 students in particular, to consider the ways they are being of service to others, as they eagerly await for their Sacrament of Confirmation.

16.01.2022 After months of learning lines and rehearsing dance routines, even during Remote Learning, we recorded our 2020 School Concert today! We cannot wait to see the final edit of, Under St Mary’s Big Top! Families can order their very own copy of our Concert, through the link provided in the School Newsletter.

12.01.2022 We have had such an exciting morning here at St Mary’s! Mrs Hall and Miss Mackin facilitated some wonderful Zoom Orientation sessions with our new 2021 Foundation students! We look forward to seeing everyone again next Friday!

12.01.2022 Our students have been thoroughly enjoying their specialist Visual Art classes since returning to onsite learning. These colourful creations have certainly brought a lot of fun and colour to our learning spaces!

11.01.2022 Congratulations to our Year 3 students, who today celebrated their Sacrament of Reconciliation.

08.01.2022 Recently our Year 5 students participated in Catholic Education Melbourne’s ‘STEM Mad Showcase’. Students were invited to prepare a project that would make a positive difference in our world, and remarkably we had eight student projects which were shortlisted! Congratulations to Sylvie for her creation "Underwater Elevator" which won the AKORN Educational Services 'Best Assistive Device’ Award and to Lexi for her creation "Happy Flaps" which won the Medtech Actuator 'Best Innovation for Health' Award. Alexander's creation "E-Memory" was a close runner up in two categories. These projects, and many others, are available by clicking on the link below.

06.01.2022 This year, St Mary’s participated in a new Mathematic project, Early Number and Algebra, facilitated by Catholic Education Melbourne. One of the many benefits of our involvement in this program has been having access to a range of engaging resources which support student learning. We look forward to continuing with this project in 2021.
