20.01.2022 Congratulations to the STARS and Students of the Week for this week. Only 2 more assemblies left. Wonderful to see our largest amount of recipients for STAR tickets ever today. Some students even received 2 tickets for being responsible and respectful. Wonderful effort for so close to the end of the year.

The MacKillop Year 6 students were excited to receive the trophies on assembly yesterday. Final places Gold MacKillop 1st Red Tissot 2nd ... On Tuesday 20th we are having the following events -... Deano Yipadee is coming to visit to talk about how he gets his ideas for writing and also to do a show. It's dress up day so come dressed as your favourite character from a book. We are having a parade which will photographed and shared on Facebook and in the Newsletter.

06.01.2022 Year 2 have been reading Rosie Revere, Engineer in English and learning about procedural texts types. Yesterday they made fruit and vegetable kebabs in class. When they had made the kebab, the students used the experience to write out the procedure they used. The children had lots of fun making the kebabs and even more eating them when they had finished their writing!

06.01.2022 This week we have celebrated NAIDOC Week. Children have learnt about the importance of our Indigenous community members and their part in the history of this nation. The theme this year is Always was, Always will be. Mrs Miles’ First Nation group with the help of Mrs Bade performed the story of the Rainbow Serpent on Assembly yesterday. They unveiled the art piece of the Rainbow Serpent which they have been working on all year. It is amazingly beautiful.

04.01.2022 Today We Remember Them. St Mary' Primary School was represented by Mr Grant and four of our year 6 students , Rhianna, Lucy, Izaac, & Tamati, in a beautiful morning Remembrance Service at the Cenotaph.

03.01.2022 Good luck to Kyra, Keira and Tahlia who are competing in the Under 15 Indoor Hockey Championships in Maryborough this weekend. The girls are part of the number 2 team who are playing teams from all over Queensland.

If you are ordering for both breaks, place the order for the first break then press the back arrow twice to get back to the menu page to select the next break....
