17.01.2022 UPDATED RESPONSE TO MISINFORMATION BEING SPREAD (22 November 2020) There have been rumours and false claims circulating recently regarding the proposed Constitu...tion and Property Trust Act. Whilst we greatly encourage healthy discussion and debate, we must ensure these discussions are based on fact. At the request of His Eminence Metropolitan Tadros, amendments have been made to both the English and Arabic documents. The documents set out some background regarding why these amendments were initially proposed, and why they are will help to ensure the good governance and future of our Diocese. It is important to note that, from the outset, this whole process to amend our Diocese’s founding documents (and to implement a Board of Trustees structure) proceeded under the guidance of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II. We encourage you to read all documents, and continue to submit your welcomed feedback. All relevant documents can be found in PDF form on the Diocese website: http://www.coptic.org.au/church-constitution-property-trust/ May God continue to protect, guide and bless our Diocese for the glory of His name. God Bless, Interim Board of Trustees.

16.01.2022 PANAGIA update! Thank you for the fantastic feedback and ideas received. We now have 1700 users and 1473 bookings made on Panagia in the past 3 weeks! We've listened to your feedback and made some improvements to the way bookings work as follows:... 1) Previously, to keep the system fair, we had a rule that you can only have one active booking per type of service at the same time (eg: only 1 future liturgy booking at a time). We've now removed the restriction on making multiple bookings for services starting within 48 hours of making the booking. This is to encourage you to attend multiple services if there are spots still available close to the date of the service starting. 2) Previously only the family member who made the booking could modify or cancel it. We've now added the ability for any family member to modify or cancel the booking if required. 3) Previously, the person making the booking had to be included on it. We've now enabled making a booking on behalf of a household member. This will help you book on behalf of your younger or older family members who may not have their own Panagia account. 4) We've expanded Panagia to now also include Youth Services such as youth meetings, Bible study, Youth4Christ and Kids Club! We look forward to enabling even more services very soon. 5) We've increased capacity across all services by between 5 and 10 extra spots and added additional liturgies. 6) We've added the ability to add your booking to your calendar so that your phone or personal assistant can remind you about it if you like Do you have any feedback or ideas? We'd love to hear about it: [email protected] Please pray for this service. God bless.

03.01.2022 Dear all, an important pastoral message from HE Metropolitan Anba Tadros.

02.01.2022 Jesus said Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad John 8:54 *Today the church celebrates the holy Patriarchs: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob*... Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness, You who seek the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were hewn, And to the hole of the pit from which you were dug. Look to Abraham your father, And to Sarah who bore you; For I called him alone, And blessed him and increased him. Isaiah 51: 1 -2 May their holy blessings be with us all Amen

01.01.2022 "In that day shall be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt and a pillar at the border there of to the Lord. And it shall be for a sign and a witness unto the Lord of Hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the Lord because of the oppression and He shall send them a Savior and a Great One and He shall deliver them...whom the Lord of Hosts shall bless saying, BLESSED BE EGYPT, MY PEOPLE..." (Isaiah 19:19-25). A blessed Feast of the Entrance of our Lord Jesus Christ into the Land of Egypt.
